It’s our favourite time of year and a busy one at that with a month full of festive events in Cornwall, but the one we all look forward to is the Padstow Christmas festival, so here is some more information if you are thinking of visiting (which we highly recommend you do)-
7th to 10th December 2017
The Christmas market-
The best locally-produced food and drink the West Country has to offer
During the last decade, Padstow Christmas Festival has earned a reputation for showcasing a tempting selection of food ranging from artisan breads and cakes, chocolates, meats, cheeses, and preserves, not to mention award-winning craft beers and locally produced gins.
Find that special Christmas gift or even treat yourself!
Padstow Christmas Festival is the premier event in the county for showcasing exciting gifts and products from a myriad of artisan companies and manufacturers.
Chefs hosting cooking demonstrations at Padstow Christmas Festival 2017
Food heroes Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and Nathan Outlaw will be flying the flag for Cornwall at this year’s 10th annual Padstow Christmas Festival.
The highly-acclaimed culinary trio, who are longstanding champions of the event, will be joined by a who’s who of almost 60 chefs from across the country for four days of festive celebration – Padstow style.
The chef demonstrations in the Sharp’s Chefs’ Theatre and on the Festival Stage, spread across the four days of the festival, are all free to attend and a unique opportunity for some of the country’s best chefs to share their recipes and cooking tips.
Santa Fun Run-
Get your Santa suits at the ready! Cornwall Hospice Care’s Santa Fun Run and Cycle returns to Padstow Christmas Festival on Saturday, 9th December – and promises to be better than ever!
